Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to 228,870

The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 228,870 Russian troops in Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to July 1, 2023, including 530 invaders in the past day alone.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

The Ukrainian defenders have also destroyed 4,042 enemy tanks (+1 in the past day), 7,868 armored combat vehicles (+5), 4,162 artillery systems (+35), 632 multiple launch rocket systems (+2), 389 air defense systems, 315 aircraft, 308 helicopters, 3,545 unmanned aerial vehicles (+26), 1,261 cruise missiles, 18 warships/cutters, 6,794 motor vehicles (+9), and 580 special equipment units (+11).

The data are being verified.

As reported by Ukrinform, units of the rocket forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit six Russian manpower, weapons and military equipment clusters, three ammunition depots and 24 artillery units in firing positions.
