Missile attack on Kramatorsk: 32 houses damaged by blast wave

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko said this on the air of the "United News" telethon, Ukrinform reports.

"The blast wave damaged 32 apartment buildings, including roofs and windows. It's not just broken glass, but even the window frames were turned upside down. About a quarter to a third of the residents lived in these buildings. Places for resettlement and evacuation of people from the affected buildings have been provided and prepared," Kyrylenko said.

According to him, within the radius of the Russian Iskander explosion, which actually covers the entire center of Kramatorsk, the city's utilities are inspecting the affected buildings. The head of the military administration suggests that after a detailed examination of the situation, the number of damaged buildings may increase to at least 40.

Required materials from the material reserve of the city and the region will be allocated to liquidate the consequences of the missile attack. The houses are currently being preserved to prevent moisture from getting inside. Then the roofs will be repaired, as the slate covering of these high-rise buildings is no longer suitable for use due to the impact of the blast wave.

As Ukrinform reported, Russian troops launched two missile attacks on Kramatorsk on the evening of June 27. One missile hit a pizzeria in the city center. Among the ten people killed were a 17-year-old girl and two 14-year-old sisters. The second missile hit the village of Bilenke.

Ukraine's Security Service detained the missile's adjuster.
