In Tavria direction, Ukrainian forces improve their tactical position in defense

In the Tavria direction, the Ukrainian forces have achieved partial success in offensive actions and improved their tactical positions in the defense in the past 24 hours.

Valeriy Shershen, spokesperson for the joint press center of the defense forces of Tavria direction, said this during the nationwide United News telethon, Ukrinform reports.

“Over the past day, the nature of hostilities has not changed in the Tavria direction. We hold our positions in defense and take measures, including measures to improve the tactical position. On the other hand, we have partial success in conducting offensive actions in the indicated direction. The enemy is making significant efforts to stop our advance, and is also suffering heavy losses in manpower, weapons and equipment," said Shershen.

According to him, Russia lost 242 occupiers killed and wounded in this section of the front in the past day, and 16 units of the enemy's weapons and military equipment were destroyed.

In addition, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed five enemy ammunition depots, Shershen emphasized.

However, according to him, "there is still a high threat of the enemy using missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles on military and civilian infrastructure objects throughout Ukraine."

As reported, the Russian army launched attacks on nine regions across Ukraine in the past 24 hours.
