A source in the Russian special services said that Russian rebels of the Wagner PMC had occupied military facilities in Voronezh.

That's according to Reuters, Ukrinform reports.

"A Russian security source told Reuters that Wagner fighters had also taken control of military facilities in the city of Voronezh, about 500 km (310 miles) south of Moscow," the report said.

According to a BBC source close to the FSB's central office, the "Wagner" PMC has taken over "all key facilities" in Voronezh. "It's just like in Rostov," he said. According to him, the FSB does not have a specific plan to suppress the rebellion.

At the same time, the governor of Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, denied reports of military equipment being moved into the region, calling it an "information provocation" by those "interested in destabilizing the situation in the country and the region."

Earlier, the Telegram channel "'Razghruzka Wagner' published a several-minute video in which Yevgeny Prigozhin in Rostov-on-Don talks with Russian Deputy Defense Minister Yunus-Bek Yevkurov and General Vladimir Alekseev, who the day before had called on the Wagnerites to stop and called what was happening an attempted coup d'etat. At the same time, it was stated that the Wagnerites had seized the headquarters of the Southern Military District in Rostov.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, according to Russian propaganda resources, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that "anti-terrorist measures" were being taken in the city in connection with the actions of the Wagner PMC, and additional control on the roads was introduced.

There are reports of PMC columns moving to Voronezh.
