Ukraine’s Defense Forces hit 23 enemy artillery units and command post

The Defense Forces of Ukraine struck 23 Russian artillery units, two transmitter stations and a command post in the past day.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its evening update on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“Over the past day, units of the rocket forces and artillery hit a command post, two enemy manpower and equipment clusters, two ammunition depots, a fuel depot, 23 artillery units in firing positions, two electronic warfare systems and two transmitter stations of the occupiers," the report says.

In addition, the Ukrainian Air Force launched seven strikes on Russian manpower clusters, as well as four strikes targeting the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems.

In the past 24 hours, the Russian invaders launched another missile and air strike against Ukraine, using three Kh-47 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, three Kh-22 cruise missiles and four Shahed-136/131 drones. Three kamikaze drones were downed by the Ukrainian air defense forces.

In addition, the enemy launched 44 air strikes, carried out about 30 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Russian attacks caused damage to infrastructure, civilians were affected.

The probability of further missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

According to the General Staff, the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. Fierce battles are ongoing. Over 20 combat engagement were recorded in the past day.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Armed Forces of Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to June 22, 2023 eliminated about 222,650 Russian invaders, including 650 occupiers in the past day alone.
