Cherevaty on Russian losses in Lyman–Kupyansk direction: Two companies in past day

Eastern Group of Forces Spokesperson Serhiy Cherevaty said this, Ukrinform reports with reference to ArmyInform.

According to Cherevaty, the enemy lost 146 people killed and 190 wounded in this direction. "That's two companies within 24 hours, roughly speaking," he said.

The spokesman noted that the invaders’ actions in Lyman–Kupyansk direction are very similar to how they acted in Bakhmut direction, using manpower as the main striking element.

"The enemy's key strike force is close combat assault units, the so-called "Storm-z" companies, which they have specially recruited from among the criminal ... In addition, the enemy raises additional forces from the combat army reserve and units of their air assault troops," Cherevaty informed.

He reported that the defense forces hit an enemy T-72 tank, four infantry fighting vehicles, an Akatsiya self-propelled gun, an ammunition depot, and two trucks in this direction.

Three combat engagements took place in Bakhmut direction during the day. The enemy used artillery of various calibers and systems more than 300 times, launched airstrikes using combat aircraft.

"Despite such small combat activity compared to Lyman–Kupyansk direction, our soldiers decimated 99 occupiers, another 191 were wounded. Six guns and one self-propelled gun, two ammunition depots and the same number of UAV command posts were destroyed," Cherevaty said.
