Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Serhiy Shaptala held a meeting in the headquarters of the groups of troops that perform tasks in the areas of the fiercest battles.

"Together with Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Serhiy Shaptala, we conducted work in the groups of troops that perform the most difficult tasks in the areas where the fiercest battles are going on," Zaluzhny posted on Facebook.

Zaluzhny said that the enemy tries to obstruct the advance of Ukrainian units. For this purpose, the Russian troops deployed a system of fortifications with dense minefields and a large number of reserves.
