Nearly 400 Russian soldiers eliminated in Tavria direction over past day - General Tarnavskyi

During the day, the defense forces of the Tavria direction destroyed more than four enemy companies and 59 units of enemy equipment.

That’s according to General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, Commander of the Tavria Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops, Ukrinform reports.,

"On the Tavria axis, our Defense Forces continue their advance. Over the last day, the enemy's losses in terms of soldiers killed and wounded amounted to more than four companies. Fifty-nine units of Russia’s military equipment were either destroyed or damaged," Tarnavskyi reported on Telegram.

In particular, according to the report, the following units of military hardware were destroyed: a Ka-52 helicopter, 14 tanks, 10 BMP IFVs s, six BBMs, an MTLB, a 2S19 Msta-S howitzer, a 2A65 Msta-B howitzer, a Kornet anti-tank missile complex, a 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery installation, an e-warfare complex, three Zala UAVs, an Orlan-10 UAV, and an Orlan-30 UAV. In addition, the enemy's ammunition depot was engaged.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 217,910 Russian troops in Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to June 15, 2023, including 580 in the past day alone.

In addition, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 3,955 enemy tanks (+12 in the past day), 7,667 armored combat vehicles (+14), 3,793 artillery systems (+10), 604 multiple launch rocket systems (+1), 364 air defense systems, 314 warplanes, 301 helicopters (+1), 3,333 unmanned aerial vehicles (+9), 1,199 cruise missiles, 18 warships/cutters, 6,506 motor vehicles (+24), and 519 units of specialized equipment (+3).
