Zelensky convening urgent NSDC meeting over Russia’s blowing up of Kakhovka dam

NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov announced this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has decided to hold an emergency meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine due to the blowing up of the Kakhovka Reservoir dam," he said.

As earlier reported, the Russian occupying forces blew up the Kakhovka dam. The water will reach critical levels within five hours. According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, local residents are being evacuated from potential flood areas.
