Russians have already injured 998 children in Ukraine

The Russian army has already injured 998 children in Ukraine.

"As of the morning of June 3, 2023, more than 1,482 children were killed and injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to the official information from the juvenile prosecutors, 484 children were killed and more than 998 received injuries of various degrees of severity," the Prosecutor General's Office posted on Telegram.

These numbers are not final. The efforts are ongoing to establish the casualties in the areas of military operations, temporarily captured and liberated territories.

Most children were killed and injured in Donetsk region – 462, Kharkiv region – 283, Kyiv region – 128, Kherson region – 105, Zaporizhzhia region – 91, Mykolaiv region – 89, Dnipropetrovsk region – 74, Chernihiv region – 71, Luhansk region – 67.

On June 2, a 3-year-old boy was injured in the Russian army shelling of the village of Kivsharivka, Kharkiv region.

Also, on June 2, a car with a family inside drove over an explosive device and exploded between the villages of Liutivka and Lemishchene in Kharkiv region. Two girls aged 12 and 15, as well as a 12-year-old boy, who were in the car, were injured.

On June 2, an explosive device left by the Russian invaders detonated on a children's playground in the village of Zahorianivka, Kherson region. Two boys aged 3 and 10 were injured.

As reported, on June 2, the Russian military shelled the village of Kivsharivka, Kupyansk district, Kharkiv region. A man and a woman were killed, three women and a 3-year-old boy were injured.
