Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has committed more than 4,200 crimes against Ukrainian children.

"Russia has committed more than 4,200 crimes against children since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine. Children are injured or killed by Russian shelling almost every week. To date, we know about nearly 500 killed Ukrainian children, about 1,000 injured, almost 400 are considered missing, and thousands have been deported to Russia or temporarily occupied territories," Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said at the Cabinet’s meeting on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

He noted that it is currently impossible to establish the exact number of victims.

"The war unleashed by Russia violates the rights of millions of Ukrainian children," the Prime Minister emphasized.

He noted that on the night of June 1, Russians killed a 9-year-old girl and two adults in Kyiv. The Head of Government expressed his condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims.

Members of the Government honored the memory of all the children killed as a result of Russian aggression with a moment of silence.

As reported, three people, including a 9-year-old child, were killed in the Russian missile attack on Kyiv last night.
