Ukrainian forces destroy three enemy drones in country’s south

The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 13 invaders, three enemy unmanned aerial vehicles of operational level such as Merlin and Orlan-10, as well as two Lancet barrage munitions in the south of the country.

The Operational Command South announced this on its Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.

"Yesterday, our air force strengthened the work of missile and artillery units by striking the area where the enemy's manpower, weapons and equipment were located in Oleshky community. According to preliminary data, 13 invaders were eliminated, the data is being further verified,” the report says.

According to the Operational Command South, the enemy intensified aerial reconnaissance, in particular, in Bashtanka district, and the use of Lancet-type attack drones in Beryslav district.

"However, our air defense units, being vigilant, accurately destroyed three UAVs of the operational level, such as Merlin and Orlan-10, as well as two Lancet barrage munitions,” the Operational Command South said.

As Ukrinform reported, from February 24, 2022 to June 1, 2023, the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 208,370 Russian invaders, including 460 occupiers in the past day alone.
