Ukrainian forces launch 11 air strikes on enemy positions in past 24 hours

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its morning update, according to Ukrinform.

"In the last 24 hours, our defenders destroyed 32 Shahed attack drones. Units of rocket forces and artillery hit three command posts, an area where the enemy's personnel was concentrated, four artillery pieces in a firing position, an anti-aircraft missile system, three fuel depots and an electronic warfare station," Ukraine's military said.

In total, in the past 24 hours, the enemy carried out 64 air strikes and a missile strike and used multiple launch rocket systems 88 times.

The probability of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.

The enemy also continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. In the past day, units of Ukraine's defense forces repelled 22 enemy attacks.

The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissia areas has not changed significantly.

In the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna sectors, the enemy made an unsuccessful attempt to infiltrate a sabotage and intelligence group across Ukraine's state border outside the settlement of Zelene in the Kharkiv region. The enemy also carried out an airstrike in the area of the village of Udy. The settlements of Khrinivka, Karpovychi, Yanzhulivka and Leonivka in the Chernihiv region and Seredyna-Buda, Fotovyzh, Atynske, Uhroidy and Velyka Pysarivka in the Sumy region all came under mortar and artillery attacks.

In the Kupiansk area, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives west of Masiutivka in the Kharkiv region and in the direction of Novoselivske in the Luhansk region. The enemy carried out air strikes outside Kotliarivka of the Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka of the Luhansk regions. The settlements of Kamianka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka and Berestove in the Kharkiv region were all hit by artillery and mortar fire.

On the Lyman axis, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive action south of Kuzmyne. The enemy carried out air strikes near Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Yampolivka, Donetsk region. The settlements of Nevske and Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region and Spirne of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.

In the past day, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Bakhmut sector. The enemy carried out an air strike near Vesele and a missile strike near the village of New York, Donetsk region. The settlements of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Khromove, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Pivnichne, Zalizne and New York of the Donetsk region came under enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka area, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive action outside Sievierne. The enemy carried out air strikes near Avdiivka. Enemy forces also fired artillery on the settlements of Avdiivka, Orlivka, Pervomaiske and Netailove in the Donetsk region.

In the Marinka sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks outside the city of Marinka, as well as in the direction of the settlements of Pobieda and Novomykhailivka. At the same time, the enemy carried out an airstrike within the settlement of Marinka, while Heorhiivka and Pobieda in the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.

In the Shakhtarske sector, the enemy launched air strikes near Vodiane, Prechystivka, and Velyka Novosilka. The enemy shelled the settlements of Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Shakhtarske.

The enemy continues to conduct defensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson areas. The enemy carried out an airstrike near Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy shelled the settlements of Zelene Pole, Novopil and Temyrivka in the Donetsk region, Olhivske, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka and Stepove in the Zaporizhzhia region, Sadove, Komyshany and Kizomys in the Kherson region, the city of Kherson, as well as Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region.

In the temporarily occupied city of Yalta, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Russian occupation authorities are illegally seizing real estate from Ukrainian citizens who did not accept Russian citizenship during the occupation of the peninsula. Russian soldiers move into such homes.

The invaders continue to impose Russian citizenship on the population in various ways. In particular, in Stanytsia Luhanska, employees of a budget-funded institution were warned that in June, only those who have re-registered at a Russian bank will be able to receive their salary.
