Russian troops open fire on Kharkiv region’s Kupiansk district, woman injured

The relevant statement was made by the Main Department of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to the Ukrainian State Emergency Service, on May 28, 2023, Russian invaders were extensively shelling the Kupiansk district with artillery.

In particular, enemy projectiles hit detached house suburbs in the village of Petropavlivka. Two household buildings caught fire, totaling 60 square meters in area.

Additionally, Russian shells struck detached house suburbs in the village of Kucherivka. A local woman, born in 1949, received shrapnel injuries.

A reminder that, on May 27, 2023, Russian troops shelled border settlements in three districts across the Kharkiv region. Casualties among civilians were reported.
