On May 25, Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anušauskas took part in an online meeting in Ramstein format, where he noted the importance of providing Ukraine with a Euro-Atlantic perspective and announced a new military aid package from Lithuania.
"Ukraine's victory is the only thing that can restore peace and stability in the Euro-Atlantic area," the minister said, stressing that Lithuania continues to be a consistent friend of Ukraine.
According to Anušauskas, the new military aid package to Ukraine from Lithuania will include anti-drone equipment, ammunition, dry rations and other assistance.
He noted that Lithuania's military aid to Ukraine will soon reach EUR 465 million.
The government official also emphasized the importance of training the Ukrainian military, noting that Lithuania has significantly increased the volume of training and the number of instructors designated for it.
In addition to training, Lithuania's military aid this year includes the transfer of military equipment and arms, medical treatment and rehabilitation, as well as contributions to international funds to support Ukraine.
As reported by Ukrinform, on May 25, Finland said it would provide Ukraine with a new military aid package worth more than EUR 100 million.
