Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany announces handover of 110 Leopard tanks

Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Oleksii Makeiev has announced the receiving of 110 Leopard 1A5 tanks.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian diplomat on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"110 Leopard 1A5 tanks. Soon," Makeiev said.

The Ukrainian ambassador added a photo of one of the tanks and a video with it.

As reported, in February, during a visit to Kyiv, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius promised that Ukraine would receive more than 100 battle tanks of the older version of Leopard 1A5 from a group of European countries.
