Yermak, Sullivan discuss situation at front, formation of 'fighter jet coalition'

As part of his visit to Japan as a member of the official Ukrainian delegation, Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office Andriy Yermak met with U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

Ukrinform reports this with reference to the Ukrainian President’s Office.

“The parties discussed the situation on the battlefield and the formation of a coalition to provide fighter jets to Ukraine, as well as steps to move toward implementation of the Peace Formula proposed by President Volodymyr Zelensky,” the report says.

It is noted that Yermak thanked the U.S. President, the Congress and the entire American people “for their continued support of Ukraine in the war for its independence”.

As reported, the 48th G7 summit is underway in Japan. Its participants are considering ways to ensure the stability of the global economy, including the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic and Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
