Two houses damaged as Russians seven times shell Sumy region

On May 20, Russian troops shelled four communities in Sumy region close to the border with Russia, where a total of 56 explosions were reported.

That’s according to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reports Ukrinform.

"Throughout the day, the Russians seven times shelled the areas near the border. Fifty-six explosions were recorded," the statement reads.

The Bilopillia, Khotyn, Krasnopillia, and Yunakivka communities all came under Russian fire.

The Russians mortared the Bilopillia community 38 times.

The enemy shelled the Yunakivka community, employing artillery, firing four rounds.

The Krasnopillia community also came under Russian artillery fire as seven explosions were recorded.

In addition, the enemy artillery fired seven times at the Khotyn community where two residential buildings were damaged.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on May 19, Russian troops shelled the communities in Sumy region close to the border with Russia 17 times. A total of 131 explosions were recorded.
