Shahed drone attack on Kyiv: All air targets destroyed

"The 11th air attack on the capital since the beginning of May! The enemy is trying with all his might to inflict damage on key objects in Kyiv and at the same time exhaust the resources of our air defense. In addition, in this way, the ruscists seek to keep the civilian population in deep psychological tension. That's why they attack Kyiv from the air almost every day. In May, the residents of Kyiv did not hear air raid sirens for only four days," Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Serhiy Popko posted on Telegram.

Last night, the aggressor again carried out a massive drone attack. According to preliminary information, Shahed loitering munitions were used.

"All detected air targets were destroyed by the forces and means of our air defense. Hits on Kyiv were prevented!" Popko stressed.

According to his information, falling fragments set fire to a residential building in Dniprovskyi district, the fire was put out, no casualties were reported; in Darnytskyi district, a service station building and parked cars were damaged; in Pecherskyi district, the windows of a residential building were damaged; in Solomyanskyi district, road surface and vehicles were damaged.

No casualties have been reported so far. The data are being updated.
