Russians strike border areas of Sumy region 16 times today

During the day, the Russians launched 16 strikes on the border areas of Sumy region. More than 180 explosions were recorded.

“Bilopillia, Nova Sloboda, Seredyna-Buda, and Znob-Novhorodske communities came under fire,” the Sumy Regional Military Administration posted on Telegram.

The enemy fired mortars (28 strikes) and automatic grenade launchers (85 explosions) on Bilopillia community.

In Znob-Novhorodske community, artillery shelling (four explosions), mortar shelling (10 explosions), and Grad MLRS shelling (22 explosions) were recorded.

The enemy hit Nova Sloboda community with mortars (four explosions).

"As a result of the shelling, a residential building caught fire. Another private house was damaged. While trying to put out the fire, civilians came under small arms fire. No casualties were reported," the report says.

In addition, automatic grenade launchers were used to hit populated settlements of the community (20 explosions).

Moreover, the Russians fired mortars (four explosions) and tube artillery (two explosions) on Seredyna-Buda community.

As reported, Russian troops shelled Sumy region more than 400 times over the past month.
