Ukrainian forces destroy Russian cannon, ammo depot in Bakhmut sector

In the Bakhmut sector, Ukrainian defenders destroyed a cannon and an ammunition depot of the Russian forces.
Commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Excellent work of the 45 separate artillery brigade in the Bakhmut direction. They effectively destroyed a cannon and an ammunition depot of the enemy," the commander wrote.
As reported by Ukrinform, Commander Syrskyi said the advance of Ukrainian troops in the Bakhmut direction is the first success of offensive operations in the city’s defense; however, this is only a “partial success.”
