Invaders shell border area of Chernihiv region, 16 strikes recorded

On Monday morning, Russian troops used Grad MLRS to shell the border area of Chernihiv region. Civilian infrastructure was damaged.
The Operational Command North wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"From 6:30 to 7:10, 16 attacks, presumably from MLRS, were recorded in Yeline settlement... As a result of shelling, civilian infrastructure was damaged, a private house caught fire," the report says.
The military added that information about losses among the local population is being clarified.
As Ukrinform reported, from February 24, 2022 to May 15, 2023, the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 199,460 Russian invaders.
