Britain to send long-range attack drones to Ukraine – media

The United Kingdom will provide Ukraine with hundreds of new long-range attack drones with a range of over 200 km.

According to Reuters, after President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Britain for talks with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, the British government announced it would send long-range attack drones to Ukraine.

"Today the Prime Minister will confirm the further UK provision of hundreds of air defence missiles and further unmanned aerial systems including hundreds of new long-range attack drones with a range of over 200 km," the government said in a statement.

It is noted that these will all be delivered over the coming months as Ukraine prepares to intensify its resistance to the ongoing Russian invasion.

As reported by Ukrinform, Germany is providing Ukraine with a military aid package worth EUR 2.7 billion, which will help Ukrainians efficiently defend themselves against the aggressor.
