Enemy concentrates attacks in four directions. Battles fought for Bakhmut, Marinka

This is stated in the evening report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

"The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Marinka directions. During the day, the enemy launched more than 30 attacks on the specified areas of the front. The fiercest battles continue for the cities of Bakhmut and Maryinka," the report reads.

During the day, the invaders launched one missile strike with S-300 missile at the civilian infrastructure of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region. In addition, the Russians launched 35 airstrikes and four MLRS attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and settlements in Kherson region. Civilians were killed and injured, private houses and other civilian infrastructure objects were destroyed and damaged.

No signs of the formation of offensive groups were detected in Volyn and Polissia directions. Certain units of the Russian armed forces are still stationed at the training grounds of the Republic of Belarus.

In Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the invaders continue to maintain a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. During the day, the Russians launched mortar and artillery attacks on Leonivka in Chernihiv region; Bachivsk, Khodyne, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Volfyne, Bilovody, Popivka in Sumy region; Veterynarne, Zelene, Hatyshche, Zybyne, Budarky in Kharkiv region.

In Kupyansk direction, the Russians did not carry out offensive operations during the day. The Russian army carried out airstrikes on the areas of Masiutivka, Pershotravneve and Terny settlements. Mykolaivka, Krasne Pershe, Fyholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Masiutivka, Lyman Pershyi, Kyslivka in Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In Lyman direction, during the day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Serebrianske forestry. The airstrikes were launched in the areas of Bilohorivka and Spirne. Makiyivka, Bilohorivka, Vesele in Luhansk region; Yampolivka, Spirne, and Berestove in Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.

In Bakhmut direction, the aggressor continues to go on the offensive. During the day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the city of Bakhmut, carried out airstrikes in the areas of Torske, Bakhmut, Klishchiyivka, Kurdiumivka settlements. Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Zalizne, New York in Donetsk region came under enemy fire.

In Avdiyivka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Avdiyivka. The invaders also launched airstrikes in the areas of Novokalynove and Avdiyivka. Berdychi, Avdiyivka, Pervomayske, and Nevelske in Donetsk region were hit.

In Maryinka direction, the Ukrainian troops repelled numerous enemy attacks in Maryinka area. Heorhiyivka and Pobieda in Donetsk region came under enemy fire.

In Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy carried out offensive operations in Novomykhailivka area, had no success. Airstrikes in Prechystivka and Novosilka districts were launched. Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, and Novoukrainka were struck.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the aggressor continues to hold the defense. The invaders launched airstrikes on the areas of Huliaypole, Mala Tokmachka, Stepnohirsk, Kizomys, and Stanislav settlements. In addition, the settlements near the contact line were hit, including Vremivka, Novopil in Donetsk region; Malynivka, Huliaypole, Mykilske, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Kamyanske in Zaporizhzhia region; Dudchany, Antonivka, Dniprovske, Bilozerka, Berehove, Kherson in Kherson region.

According to the General Staff data, there is mass dissatisfaction among the residents of temporarily occupied Tokmak in Zaporizhzhia region who were "evacuated" by the Russian pseudo-administration to Berdiansk. In particular, people complain that the Russians placed them in terrible living conditions, in rooms without windows, electricity, warm water, and furniture. Also, the invaders forbade the "evacuated" citizens to return to Tokmak for an indefinite period.

Russian troops continue to suffer heavy losses on the battlefield. As a result, the aggressor equips civilian educational institutions of the temporarily captured territories as healthcare institutions. In Luhansk, the premises of three local hospitals are fully equipped by the Russians as military hospitals for the wounded of light and moderate severity.

Russian invaders, under the pretext of evacuating civilians, continue to take looted property out of the front-line settlements of Zaporizhzhia region. In Enerhodar, Russian servicemen completely looted all the town's healthcare institutions, all the city's medical equipment was taken to the occupied Simferopol of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Also, all enterprises located in the industrial zone near the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant were completely looted.

According to the General Staff data, Ukraine’s Air Force launched three strikes on enemy personnel and military equipment clusters. Missile and artillery units hit an enemy anti-aircraft missile system, two manpower clusters, a fuel depot, and an electronic warfare station.
