Russian troops shell Kherson region 42 times in 24 hours

Russian army fired 42 times at Kherson region over the last day, firing a total of 282 shells and injuring two civilians.

The Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

In particular, Russian troops fired seven times at Kherson.

The invaders struck with heavy artillery, Grad multiple rocket launchers, tanks, drones and aircraft.

The enemy shells hit residential areas of the region's settlements and the territory of one of Kherson's plants.

"Two people were injured due to Russian aggression," noted Prokudin.

According to him, seven people were evacuated from the liberated territories of Kherson region over the previous day.

As Ukrinform reported, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in total, Russian troops carried out 16 missile and 61 air strikes, as well as 52 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of the Defense Forces and settlements over the day.
