Escalation in Avdiyivka, Maryinka directions: 24 attempted assaults

Compared to the previous day, a tendency to escalation is observed in Avdiyivka and Maryinka directions. In particular, 24 attempts to assault the positions of Ukrainian troops in these sections were recorded over the past day.

"The tactics of the Russian Federation remain unchanged, they conduct ‘meat’ assaults. Sometimes assault groups advance without the support of artillery or heavy equipment at all," Colonel Serhiy Teliatytskyi, head of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of Tavria direction, said during the national news telethon.

As noted, the enemy suffered significant losses in Tavria direction: "About two companies of occupiers’ personnel were killed or wounded."

Moreover, 28 units of weapons and military equipment, four ammunition depots, two UAVs, four armored combat vehicles, Osa anti-aircraft missile system, and S-300 anti-aircraft missile system were destroyed.

As reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 40 attacks in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Maryinka directions over the past day.
