In Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions, there are significant damages to the network infrastructure due to shelling by Russian invaders.

That's according to the Ministry of Energy in Telegram.

"On the evening of April 30 and the night of May 1, the enemy launched another massive attack on Ukraine. No damage to electricity generating facilities was recorded. However, there is significant damage to distribution networks. As a result, some consumers in Dnipro city and the region have lost power. The situation with electricity supply in Kherson region has also become more complicated: more than 11,000 customers in Kherson and 7,100 in the region were cut off due to the shelling," the statement said.

It is noted that it will take several days to fully repair the damage.

The Ministry emphasized that power engineers are working to restore the electricity supply around the clock. In particular, over the past day, more than 7,000 subscribers in Donetsk region and about 3,000 in Sumy region have been supplied with electricity.

"The energy infrastructure comes under daily shelling by the occupiers in different country regions. However, our power engineers are trying to return electricity to people as soon as possible, often risking their own lives and health," said Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko.

As reported, the army of the Russian Federation attacked 11 regions of Ukraine over the past day, with civilians killed and wounded.
