Russian troops continue focusing efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s Defense Forces have repelled more than 36 enemy attacks in the above directions. Bakhmut and Marinka are remaining the epicenter of hostilities. Our defenders are firmly holding defense,” the report states.

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force has launched four strikes on Russian personnel clusters. The Ukrainian military shot down an enemy Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit five Russian personnel clusters, one ammunition depot, two enemy artillery clusters and one logistics hub.

Russia continues to use the tactics of terror. Over the past day, Russian troops have launched five missile strikes on such cities as Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka and Pavlohrad. The enemy also launched 27 air strikes and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) 45 times. Casualties among civilians were reported.

The threat of Russian air and missile strikes is persisting all over Ukraine.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remained rather unchanged. No enemy offensive groupings were detected. Some Russian military units are remaining within the territory of Belarus.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, Russian invaders launched air strikes on the Chernihiv region’s Krasnyi Khutir and the Sumy region’s Seredyna-Buda. The enemy also launched mortar and artillery strikes on the Chernihiv region’s Mykolaivka, Halahanivka, Arkhypivka, Leonivka and Oleksandrivka; the Sumy region’s Seredyna-Buda, Druzhba, Bachivsk, Sopych; the Kharkiv region’s Chervona Zoria, Veterynarne, Strilecha, Hlyboke, Krasne, Vovchansk, Cherniakove and Loshakove.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian troops did not conduct offensive actions. The enemy launched mortar and artillery strikes on the Kharkiv region’s Kamianka, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Kyslivka, Berestove, and the Luhansk region’s Novoselivske.

In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders attacked the following settlements with artillery: the Luhansk region’s Nevske, Dibrova and Bilohorivka; the Donetsk region’s Kolodiazi, Torske, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne and Rozdolivka.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops continue offensive actions. In the city of Bakhmut, battles continue. The enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions towards Bohdanivka, Ivanivske and Oleksandro-Shultyne.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian occupiers conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Avdiivka and Pervomaiske.

In the Marinka direction, Russian troops continue attacking the positions of Ukrainian forces. Battles are underway for the city of Marinka.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian invaders did not conduct offensive actions. The enemy opened fire on Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Novouktrainka and Zolota Nyva

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian occupiers continue holding defense and shelling nearby settlements. The enemy launched an air strike on the Kherson region’s Kizomys.

Russian invaders continue trying and replenishing their personnel losses with convicts. About 400 of them were recruited by Russia’s Wagner Group and had recently arrived in one of the occupiers’ field camps in the Zaporizhzhia region’s Berdiansk district.

Similar reinforcements are expected near the city of Luhansk, where training exercises have been scheduled for up to 200 convicts. The military training will last several weeks. The commandant’s service company was instructed to open fire on any attempts by convicts to escape or disobey.

In the Luhansk region, Russian occupation authorities are working on the alienation of the immovable property left by the Ukrainian citizens, who had fled the temporarily occupied areas. The seized property will be transferred to security agencies.
