Shooting between Russian troops, ‘Wagnerites’ in Stanytsia Luhanska, casualties reported

In Stanytsia Luhanska, temporarily captured by the Russians, a fight broke out between Russian army units and Wagnerites, which escalated into a shootout. The conflict resulted in deaths.

The Luhansk Regional Military Administration reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Having no significant achievements on the battlefield, the Russian military and representatives of the Wagner PMC are increasingly trying to find those responsible. They are shifting the responsibility for their own tactical miscalculations and losses to each other," the statement reads.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a fight between these enemy units took place in Stanytsia Luhanska, which escalated into a firefight. The conflict resulted in casualties on both sides. They continue to suffer heavy losses on the battlefield, the regional administration emphasized.

According to the regional administration, medical facilities on the temporarily occupied territory are overcrowded with wounded Russians, which forces the enemy to use educational institutions for their own purposes.

For example, "In Mistky, the invaders turned a local school into a military hospital. There are a large number of wounded Russians there. In addition, there is a great shortage of medicines and bandages in all medical institutions of the occupiers," the regional administration emphasized.

The regional administration also added that "those who want to save their lives and health and refuse to fight are sent back to the basement. Earlier, after some publicity in the media, its activities were terminated, but when the number of refusers increased, the enemy resumed the use of coercive measures."
