Russia strikes at three border districts of Kharkiv region, destruction reported

Russian invaders shelled the border and frontline settlements of the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, and Chuhuiv districts of the Kharkiv region yesterday.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

In particular, Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Kupiansk, Dvorichna, Vovchansk, and other settlements were under Russian fire.

"At least two private households were damaged as a result of shelling in Kupiansk, and fires broke out. In addition, the enemy fired artillery and mortars at Dvorichna and Kucherivka villages in the Kupiansk district. Fortunately, there were no casualties," the statement said.

Mine clearance is underway. Over the past day, the bomb disposal experts of the State Emergency Service examined about 12.7 hectares of territory and neutralized 105 explosive devices.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on April 18, the enemy launched an airstrike on the center of Vovchansk and a large-scale fire broke out in the market.
