Zelensky holds meeting in Volyn region on border arrangement, protection

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting on the arrangement and protection of the state border and the current security situation in Volyn region.

This is reported on the President's website, Ukrinform reports.

It is noted that during the meeting, reports were heard on the situation in the area of responsibility of the operational grouping of troops "Volyn" and the readiness of military units to perform tasks, as well as on measures to strengthen the state border within the Volyn region.

The meeting also discussed the operational and crime situation in the region.

The participants in the meeting discussed the work of customs authorities at international checkpoints in the Volyn region, as well as the work of the State Emergency Service to protect civilians in the region.

As Ukrinform reported, the meeting between the leadership of Volyn region and Lublin Voivodeship, which took place in the Shatsk community, discussed Poland's construction of a new automobile terminal near the border with Ukraine.
