Enemy attacks Zaporizhzhia region nearly 100 times, infrastructure hit

On April 18, 2023, Russian troops attacked the Zaporizhzhia region’s communities nearly 100 times, having caused damage to civil infrastructure.

The relevant statement was made by Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Yurii Malashko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Over the past day, the communities situated at the contact line have faced four air strikes, one unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack, three multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) attacks and 93 artillery strikes,” the report states.

Russian projectiles again caused damage to Novodanylivka, Malynivka, Kamianske, Novoyakivlivka, and 16 more settlements, including Orikhiv and Huliaipole.

Law enforcement officers received 21 reports on the damage caused to infrastructure objects by Russian attacks.

A reminder that, in the evening of April 18, 2023, one enemy Orlan UAV and six suicide drones were shot down near Zaporizhzhia and on the outskirts of Dnipro.
