Russians shells five communities in Sumy region in one day

On Monday, the Russian army fired on five communities in the districts of Sumy region bordering Russia.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

Russian artillery opened fire at the Shalyhyne community, where 18 hits were recorded.

The invaders mortared the territory of the Velyka Pysarivka community nine times.

The enemy have been shelling Bilopillia community throughout day: 24 mortar hits, six artillery strikes, and 20 hits involving multiple rocket launchers.

The Russians fired at the Seredyna-Buda community using barrel artillery, Twenty-seven hits were reported in the area.

In the Hlukhiv community, eight artillery hits were recorded.

According to the military, no enemy offensive groups have been detected in the bordering areas.

Units of the Defense Forces continue to perform tasks at the designated defense lines along the state border.

As reported by Ukrinform, on April 15, a Russian air strike damaged a boarding school in Sumy region. More than a hundred children evacuated the area.
