Russian forces hit residential sector in Avdiivka

In Donetsk region, the enemy shelled Avdiivka in the morning, hitting a residential sector. Russian strikes also destroyed two kindergartens and a school in the region over the past day.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"In the Donetsk direction, an artillery attack on Kurakhove was recorded in the past day. In the morning, the enemy shelled Avdiivka – projectiles hit a residential sector," the regional governor wrote.

In the Horlivka area, two kindergartens in Bakhmut and a school in Chasiv Yar community were damaged by enemy shelling in the past day. Artillery shelling was recorded on the outskirts of Toretsk community. In the evening, the Russians shelled Novodmytrivka in Kostiantynivka community — a grain hangar was struck.

In the Lysychansk area, Russian forces launched attacks on Torske and Zarichne in Lyman community, damaging houses on two streets in Siversk.

In the Volnovakha area, Vuhledar, Novoukrainka and Bohoiavlenka came under enemy fire.

According to Kyrylenko, no casualties have been reported in Donetsk region in the past 24 hours.

As reported by Ukrinform, Donetsk region is constantly under Russian shelling. Every day, enemy strikes kill and injure civilians, destroy infrastructure facilities.
