Ukraine needs modern fighter jets and air defense systems to prevent Russia from using guided bombs on Ukrainian territory.
Andriy Yermak, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said this in a post on his Telegram channel, according to Ukrinform.
"Guided bombs are another tool of Russian terrorists, which they use to kill Ukrainian civilians. Enemy aircraft use them in all areas of the front, shelling civilian infrastructure, killing people. We need modern aircraft and missile defense to save Ukrainians and not to give the enemy more opportunities to use guided air bombs," he wrote.
Ukrainian Air Force spokesperson Yurii Ihnat said earlier that the Russian invaders were using guided bombs along the entire front line in Ukraine.
