Lyman, Avdiivka, Bakhmut, and Marinka directions remain the most difficult sections of the front for the Defense Forces.

"Right now, the most difficult situation is in Donetsk and Luhansk regions where the enemy is concentrating significant efforts to try to advance. In particular, these are Lyman, Avdiivka, Bakhmut, and Marinka directions. And indeed, very large [Russian] forces are used here, in particular, to launch airstrikes," Ruslan Muzychuk, spokesman for the National Guard of Ukraine said during the national news telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, in Bakhmut direction in recent weeks, the Russian Federation has been using not only PMC Wagner units but also redeploying trained units of special forces, air assault units.

"As for, for example, the battles already in the city, the enemy uses tactics of complete destruction of buildings, some of our fortifications – in fact, they completely dismantle them to try to advance. But our military personnel are doing everything necessary to deter these attacks. And in other directions, they also effectively perform these tasks," Muzychuk said.

As reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Russian Mi-24 helicopter in Avdiivka direction.
