Ukraine has held another large-scale prisoners of war exchange.

Andriy Yermak, the head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"We are returning home 100 of our people - soldiers, sailors, border guards, national guardsmen. Among them are defenders of Mariupol, Azovstal, Hostomel. Some people have been seriously injured and have diseases. We will do everything necessary so that each of them receives all the necessary help," he said.

Yermak stated that it was not easy to return the POWs home and expressed gratitude to the entire team, especially the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

As reported by Ukrinform, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Ukraine has managed to return home 2,005 Ukrainians from Russian captivity.
