Ukraine’s forces down Russia’s Mi-24 helicopter near Avdiivka

Russia’s Mi-24 combat helicopter was shot down on the Avdiivka axis in Donetsk region.

That’s according to the press service of the Corporal General Mark Bezruchka 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade, Ukrinform reports.

"Today, the servicemen from our brigade destroyed the enemy's Mi-24 helicopter. The enemy does not stop its offensive attempts in the Avdiivka direction, where they receive a decent rebuff, suffering heavy manpower losses and having plenty of their military equipment destroyed," the brigade wrote on Facebook.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Ukraine’s Defense Forces shot down six enemy drones in one day.

Since the full-scale invasion, Russia’s death toll in Ukraine has reached 178,820, according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces.

Between February 24, 2022 and April 10, 2023, the enemy’s total combat losses included also 3,637 tanks (+1 over the past day), 7,028 armored fighting vehicles (+4), 2,750 artillery systems (+10), 534 multiple launch rocket systems (+1), 282 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 307 warplanes, 292 helicopters, 5,607 trucks and fuel tankers (+5), 18 warships/boats, 2,323 unmanned aerial vehicles (+11), 311 units of specialized equipment (+2).

A total of 911 enemy cruise missiles were shot down.
