Ukrainian forces strike enemy command post, three air defense positions

Ukrainian missile and artillery units struck an enemy command post, three areas where the invaders' manpower was concentrated, three air defense positions, as well as six other important objects.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its morning update published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"In the past day, the enemy launched 5 missile attacks and 32 air strikes, as well as 50 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems. The probability of further missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high, because the enemy continues to use terror tactics," the report says.

It is noted that Russian troops are focusing their main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka sectors. In total, Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 70 attacks. Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka remain at the epicenter of hostilities.

In the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. Throughout the day, the enemy shelled Volfyne, Basivka, Riasne, and Mezenivka in Sumy region, as well as Veterynarne, Hatyshche, Velykyi Burluk, and Kolodiazne in Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk direction, Kamianka, Petro-Ivanivka, Dvorichna, Kutkivka, Zapadne, Masiutivka and Krokhmalne in Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in Luhansk region came under enemy fire.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Bilohorivka and Verkhniokamianske. Nevske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Torske, Spirne and Rozdolivka in Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues its assault on Bakhmut, attempting to take it under full control. Ukrainian soldiers repelled more than 20 enemy attacks. In addition, Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks in the area of Ivanivske. Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Kostyantynivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Zalizne and New York in Donetsk region came under enemy shelling.

In the Avdiivka and Marinka directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the Avdiivka, Pervomaiske and Marinka areas. Over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers repelled more than 15 enemy attacks on Marinka and Avdiivka. In addition, the invaders shelled Orlivka, Tonenke, Severne, Netailove, Krasnohorivka, and Heorhiivka in Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy shelled the settlements of Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka, and Neskuchne.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy did not conduct active operations, improving defensive positions. Russian forces shelled more than 30 settlements near the contact line, including Olhivske, Huliaipole, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Zolota Balka, Tomaryne, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Zelenivka, Komyshany, Bilozerka, and Kherson.

“Over the course of the past day, the Ukrainian Air Force launched eight strikes on enemy clusters, while units of missile forces and artillery hit one command post, three areas of concentration of manpower, 3 positions of air defense means and 6 other important objects of the enemy," the General Staff of the Armed Forces concluded.

As Ukrinform reported, since February 24, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have eliminated about 174,550 Russian soldiers.
