Russians hit Kherson region 64 times in past day. Civilian killed

"Over the past day, the enemy launched 64 strikes, firing 243 shells. Kherson region came under Russian aircraft, Grad MLRS, and artillery fire," Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

The enemy attacked Kherson city nine times. Twenty-five shells hit residential neighborhoods, private houses, and apartment blocks, the governor added.

One civilian was killed and two more were injured in the enemy shelling.

Over the past day, 61 more people were evacuated from the areas of the region liberated from the Russians.

As reported, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy shelled Novooleksandrivka, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Inzhenerne, Yantarne, and Kizomys in Kherson region over the past day.
