Defense forces repel more than 80 enemy attacks, down nine Shahed drones

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on offensive operations in Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions, while the settlements of Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka remain at the epicenter of military action.

This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published on Facebook.

"Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled more than 80 enemy attacks... Over the past day, the enemy launched 11 missile strikes, four airstrikes, 43 MLRS attacks... To carry out air strikes, 10 Shahed-136 combat UAVs were used, nine of them were destroyed by our defenders," the report reads.

Over the past day, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched six strikes on enemy clusters. Missile and artillery units hit an enemy command post, six manpower clusters, two ammunition depots, and two fuel depots.

The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, pursues terror tactics against civilians. At night, the enemy launched nine missile strikes at the civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv city using S-300 missile system.

In Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of offensive groups have been detected. Over the past day, the enemy shelled Hirsk in Chernihiv region; Novovasylivka, Nova Huta, Stukalivka, Iskryskivshchyna, Volfyne, Katerynivka in Sumy region; more than 15 settlements in Kharkiv region, including Kozacha Lopan, Strilecha, Oliynykove, Neskuchne, Vilcha, Krasne Pershe, Topoli.

In Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near Stelmakhivka, Kuzmyne, and Berestove. Dvorichanske, Zapadne, Dvorichna, Masiutivka, Synkivka, Kupyansk, and Krokhmalne in Kharkiv region; Novoselivske, Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Rozdolivka, Kolodiazi, Torske, Siversk, Spirne in Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues its assault on the city of Bakhmut, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 22 attacks. At the same time, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near Orikhovo-Vasylivka in Donetsk region. Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Druzhkivka, Bakhmut in Donetsk region were struck.

In Avdiivka and Marinka directions, the enemy went on the offensive actions in the area of Novobakhmutivka, Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, Sieverne, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Marinka in Donetsk region, didn’t have success. Novokalynove, Keramik, Novoselivka Persha, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Heorhiivka, Kurakhove, Ostrivske, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region came under enemy fire.

In Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy shelled the settlements of Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Shakhtarske, Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk region.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the occupiers struck more than 30 settlements, including Novosilka, Novopil in Donetsk region; Olhivske, Charivne, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Shcherbaky in Zaporizhzhia region; Novooleksandrivka, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Inzhenerne, Yantarne, and Kizomys in Kherson region.
