Russians shell three villages in Sumy region

Russian forces used mortars to shell three border villages of the Sumy region early on Saturday, March 25.

According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's North Operational Command said this in a post on Facebook.

From 09:20 to 09:35, the Russians fired four mines, probably from a 120 mm mortar, at the village of Novovasylivka.

From 10:05 to 10:10, four hits, probably from a 120 mm mortar, were recorded outside the village of Bachivsk.

From 09:35 to 10:05, six hits, probably from a 120 mm mortar, were recorded near the village of Ukrainske.

In all cases, there was no information about civilian casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure.

On March 24, Russian troops shelled the border area of the Sumy region with mortars, with 11 explosions recorded.
