Invaders damage over 1,700 units of emergency service equipment since war began

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has lost more than 1,700 units of firefighting equipment.

Serhiy Kruk, head of the State Emergency Service, stated this during a nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We lost more than 1,700 fire trucks and firefighting equipment during this period of the war. During the war, we lost more than 300 fire departments and more than 700 buildings of various types, buildings of the State Emergency Service. These are those that were damaged (as a result of shelling - ed.), as well as those that remained in the occupied territories," he said.

At the same time, according to Kruk, the Ukrainian rescue service receives assistance from different countries.

As reported, France will hand over fire trucks and a mobile DNA laboratory to Ukraine.
