Ukraine’s Air Force launches six strikes on Russian clusters

During the day, Ukraine’s Air Force launched six strikes on Russian army clusters.

This is stated in the latest report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published on Facebook.

"The Russian Federation continues to go on the offensive in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarsk directions. Bakhmut remains the epicenter of hostilities," the report reads.

The Russian Federation, not having the desired result on the battlefield, uses terror tactics against the civilian population. It is shelling cities and villages, as well as critical infrastructure facilities, disregarding the norms of International Humanitarian Law.

During the day, the aggressor launched five missile strikes, four of them – on the civilian infrastructure objects in the city of Zaporizhzhia. The enemy also launched 12 airstrikes and more than 20 MLRS attacks.

In Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the operational situation is stable. The Russians maintain a military presence in the border areas, but the formation of offensive groups has not been detected. The territorial units of the Russian armed forces are trained in the Republic of Belarus.

During the day, the enemy shelled the areas of Oleksandrivka in Chernihiv region; Kharkivka and Starykove in Sumy region; Chervona Zoria, Veterynarne, Strilecha, Starytsia, Vovchansk, and Velykyi Burluk in Kharkiv region.

In Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the enemy continues trying to break through the defense of the Ukrainian troops. The aggressor made unsuccessful offensive attempts near Dibrova, Verkhniokamyanske, and Spirne. The enemy also fired artillery at the areas of Putnykove, Krasne Pershe, Dvorichna, Hrianykivka, Kupyansk, Krokhmalne, Berestove in Kharkiv region; Novoselivske, Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Spirne and Fedorivka in Donetsk region.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy does not stop trying to capture the city of Bakhmut. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled Russian attacks in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka and in the northern part of Bakhmut. Vasiukivka, Zaliznianske, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Kurdiumivka, Ozarianivka, and Pivnichne in Donetsk region came under enemy fire.

In Avdiivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarsk directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Kamyanka, Sieverne, Pervomaiske, Marinka settlements. Kamyanka, Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, Tonenke, Heorhiivka, Nevelske, Marinka, Vuhledar, and Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk region came under enemy fire.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy holds the defense. Olhivske, Chervone, Huliaypole, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, and Kamyanske in Zaporizhzhia region came under fire. The city of Kherson was struck again.

The Russian aggressors continue to use civilian institutions in the temporarily captured territory of Zaporizhzhia region for their own needs. In particular, the enemy is using a school in one of the settlements of Polohy district as a field hospital with 50 beds.

In Rubizhne, Luhansk region, the so-called local "authorities" force the population to obtain Russian citizenship. Ukrainian passports are not taken away from people yet, but it is necessary to have a Russian passport to be employed.
