Germany delivers another defense aid package to Ukraine

The new batch includes 155mm artillery rounds, MLRS munitions, handguns, generators, tents, and other items.

That’s according to an updated list of German comprehensive assistance to Ukraine amid the ongoing war unleashed by Russia.

In the latest package, Germany delivered 5,000 artillery rounds (155mm), bringing a total to 23,500, and an unnamed amount of 155mm high-precision projectiles. Munitions for MARS II multiple rocket launchers have also been delivered (amount unnamed), 500 SFP9 pistols, two lift trucks (adding to the previous six), and as many hangar tents, four mobile antenna mast systems (adding to the previous 30), and 25 generators, bringing their total to 295.

As part of the latest vows are 23,500projectiles 155mm for IRIS-T systems.

As reported, Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany said in the Bundestag Wednesday morning that the topic of setting up an uninterrupted supply of ammunition to Ukraine in large quantities will be on the agenda of the EU summit next week.

German industry assures that it is ready to increase production capacity, but is waiting for a government order to be issued.
