Russia has been conducting its full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine for a year and does not give up its hopes to seize the Donetsk and Luhansk regions completely.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The enemy is focusing efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions. In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders have repelled about 100 enemy attacks within these directions,” the report states.

Over the past day, Russian troops have launched 10 missile strikes and 31 air strikes, and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) over 40 times. As a result, civilian objects were hit in the Kharkiv and Kherson regions. Casualties among civilians were reported.

In some districts of the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, mobile operators cut off access to the Internet in order to prevent the transmission of data on the actions of Russian occupation troops and to fight against the patriotically-minded population of Ukraine.
