Ukrainian forces repel seven enemy attacks on Feb 21, including one near Bakhmut

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a morning update posted on its Facebook page.

In the past day, the enemy launched 59 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems. As a result of the criminal actions of the Russian invaders, residential buildings were destroyed and damaged, and civilian casualties were recorded.

"There is a great danger of further Russian air and missile strikes across Ukraine," the General Staff said.

According to the agency, the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtar directions.

No signs of the formation of offensive groups of the enemy have been detected in the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna areas. The areas of the settlements of Bachivsk, Brusky, Pavlivka, Vorozhba and Hrabovske in the Sumy region, as well as the areas of more than 20 settlements in the Kharkiv region, came under enemy fire. Among them are Strilecha, Morokhovets, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Volokhivka, Budarky, Bolohivka and Kolodiazne.

On the Kupiansk and Lyman axis, the enemy shelled the areas of Dvorichna, Hrianykivka, Kotliarivka, Kupiansk and Berestove in the Kharkiv region, Stelmakhivka, Ivanivka, Nevske, Chervonopivka, Dibrova and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Fedorivka in the Donetsk region.

The areas of 21 settlements were shelled in the Bakhmut area. Among them are Rozdolivka, Vesele, Bilohorivka, Berkhivka, Bakhmut, Stupochky, Klishchiivka, Ozarianivka and Toretsk.

On the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk axis, the enemy fired artillery at the settlements of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Vodiane, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Bohoiavlenka, Novomykhailivka, Velyka Novosilka, Neskuchne, Prechystivka, and Vuhledar.

In the Zaporizhzhia area, the enemy shelled the areas of the settlements of Novosilka, Vremivka and Novopil in the Donetsk region and Olhivske, Huliaipole, Malynivka, Mahdalynivka, Pavlivka, Stepove, Kamianske, Novoandriivka, Orikhiv, Charivne, Novodanylivka and Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

On the Kherson axis, the city of Kherson came under MLRS fire. Civilian casualties were recorded. The areas of 18 settlements came under artillery fire. Among them are Mykhailivka, Dudchany, Mylove, Tomaryne, Shliakhove, Beryslav, Mykolaivka, Kozatske, Vesele, Antonivka and Veletenske.

In the temporarily captured part of the Kherson region, the enemy continues to issue passports to the local population. The Russian occupation forces and the police tightened checks at checkpoints and are threatening to evict all citizens who do not receive a Russian passport from early March.

Over the past day, the aircraft of the Ukrainian defense forces launched eight strikes on Russian military personnel and equipment concentration areas and two strikes on the positions of the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems. Ukrainian rocket forces and artillery, in turn, hit two areas where the enemy's manpower was concentrated.
