The EU, NATO, and Ukraine are effectively combining their efforts in the fight against Russian aggression to achieve the common goal: to end the Russian war as soon as possible with the inevitable victory of Ukraine.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba made a corresponding statement at the NATO headquarters in Brussels during a press conference following the tripartite meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Since February 2022, Ukraine and its closest partners have been carrying out probably the largest logistics operation since WWII. Behind political decisions and statements, there are millions of problems that need to be solved. The greater the coordination, the sooner the Ukrainian army will drive the Russian army out of the territory of Ukraine, and the sooner peace will be restored in the Euro-Atlantic area," Ukraine’s top diplomat said.

He thanked NATO and the European Union for very effective training programs for Ukrainian service members and raised the issue of launching training programs for Ukrainian pilots as well.

"We had a very in-depth discussion on the procurement of [arms] supplies. The parties agreed to establish a working-level contact mechanism to address issues related to the production of arms and ammunition and establish closer cooperation between producers, designers, and recipients of these arms... There are production capabilities. There are delivery capabilities. So we need coordination for the result. This is what we discussed today," Kuleba said.

The minister said that he asked NATO Secretary General to schedule the next annual NATO-Industry Forum as soon as possible, probably already this spring, to bring together all representatives of the defense industry, including the Ukrainian one, to discuss further cooperation. At the same time, the Ukrainian minister expressed his gratitude to the NATO Secretary General for his assistance in building a modern defense procurement system in Ukraine.

"We will move forward to achieve a common goal: to end this war as quickly as possible, to end it with the inevitable victory of Ukraine," the Ukrainian foreign minister emphasized.

As reported, a first-ever tripartite meeting between NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba was held in Brussels. The parties discussed measures to speed up assistance to Ukraine in the fight against the Russian invasion
