Ukraine’s Defense Forces have shot down another Russian Su-25 aircraft, two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and one Lancet-3 loitering munition.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s Air Force has launched 20 strikes on enemy clusters, seven strikes on air defense missile system positions and two strikes on important enemy objects. The Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit one Russian multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) battery.

Meanwhile, Russian troops launched nine missile strikes and 11 air strikes, and opened fire with MLRS over 20 times. Casualties among civilians were reported.

According to the General Staff, the threat of Russian attacks is persisting all over Ukraine.

Russian invaders continue focusing efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions.

In the Volyn, Polissia, Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, no enemy offensive groups were detected. The presence of enemy military units is being maintained. Russian soldiers continue undergoing training within the territory of Belarus.

Over the past day, Russian troops have opened fire on the Chernihiv region’s Karpovychi, Tymonovychi and Yanzhulivka;  the Sumy region’s Atynske, Stukalivka and Zapsillia; and the Kharkiv region’s Strilecha, Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory and Stroivka.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, Russian invaders struck the Kharkiv region’s Kamianka, Dvorichna, Hrianykivka, Kupiansk and Berestove, as well as the Luhansk region’s Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Dibrova and Bilohorivka, and the Donetsk region’s Bilohorivka and Rozdolivka.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian occupiers shelled such settlements as Berkhivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Kurdiumivka, Maiorsk and New York. Additionally, Russian troops used combat aircraft to strike near Bakhmut.

In the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions, the enemy launched artillery strikes on the Donetsk region’s Vesele, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Shakhtarsk, Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka and Neskuchne.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian troops opened fire on the Donetsk region’s Novosilka, and the Zaporizhzhia region’s Poltavka, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Charivne, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka and Shcherbaky.

In the Kherson direction, Russian invaders launched artillery strikes on the city of Kherson, the Kherson region’s Burhunka, Tiahynka and Antonivka, as well as the Mykolaiv region’s Ochakiv.

According to the available data, Russians set up a military hospital in the Kherson region’s temporarily occupied urban-type settlement of Kalanchak. Local residents are denied medical aid there. Yesterday, over 50 injured and killed Russian occupiers were carried to that facility, the General Staff noted.

In the temporarily occupied areas of the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian occupation authorities continue putting pressure on local residents, namely Ukrainian children. In Tokmak-based schools, pupils are forced to sing Russia’s national anthem before classes. Additionally, schoolchildren are forced to make postcards dedicated to the one-year anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion, writing words of support and gratitude to Russian occupiers.
