Air Force launches five strikes on invaders, hits anti-aircraft missile system

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 18:00, February 17, published on Facebook.

According to the General Staff data, the aggressor launched six missile attacks on the civilian infrastructure of Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, during the day. Three private houses and one apartment block were damaged. In addition, the enemy launched a total of 10 airstrikes and more than 10 MLRS attacks.

The enemy focuses its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Shakhtarsk directions. The invaders suffer significant manpower losses.

In Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the enemy continues to keep certain units in the areas bordering Ukraine, but no offensive groups have been detected.

The aggressor does not stop mortar and artillery shelling of the positions of Ukrainian troops and the settlements along the state border of Ukraine.

During the day, areas of Kolos in Chernihiv region; Mefedivka, Bachivsk, Kharkivka, Zarutske, Partyzanske, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Atynske, Oleksiivka, and Hrabovske in Sumy region; Veterynarne, Strilecha, Vesele, Borysivka, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Tykhe, Okhrimivka, Nesterne, and Obukhivka in Kharkiv region came under enemy fire.

In Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the enemy shelled the settlements of Hrianykivka, Kucherivka, Krokhmalne, Berestove in Kharkiv region; Novoselivske, Nevske, Dibrova, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Fedorivka and Rozdolivka in Donetsk region. The aggressor launched airstrikes near Krokhmalne, Berestove, Stelmakhivka, Dibrova, Serebrianske forestry, Bilohorivka, and Spirne.

In Bakhmut direction, more than 15 settlements were shelled, in particular Vesele, Vasiukivka, Zaliznianske, Dobovo-Vasylivka, Berkhivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, New York in Donetsk region. The enemy also launched an airstrike in the area of Berkhivka.

In Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions, 17 settlements were struck, including Avdiivka, Vodiane, Vesele, Nevelske, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Bohoyavlenka, Velyka Novosilka, Zolota Nyva, Vuhledar, and Neskuchne in Donetsk region.

In Zaporizhzhia direction, the areas of 20 settlements, including Malynivka, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky, and Kamyanske in Zaporizhia region, were hit. The enemy launched airstrikes on the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka.

In Kherson direction, Kherson city and its suburbs, as well as the areas of more than 25 settlements, including Havrylivka, Dudchany, Beryslav, Vesele, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Inzhenerne, Dniprovske, Berehove, and Veletenske, came under artillery fire.

The enemy continues to suffer losses. In the village of Kalanchak, Kherson region, the invaders turned the central district hospital into a military hospital and brought 36 eliminated and 18 wounded Russian servicemen there.
